he gave me the last bottle before he shut his door
A battle for pride and justice that could no longer stand
so gather up your weapons to fight with your fellow man


So rip that rag and hold it tight, strike a match light up the night
the ones with no home their roof is the sky
Knees bent shoulder tight throw that bottle with all your might
you have to fight if you want to survive


They stood together high on the hill staring at the face of freedom
the way it had to be for their family's and their needs
The battle began at dusk with a fierce and mighty scream
by morning it was over with their hopes and all their dreams


As the dust began to settle around the homes once standing there
the brave young warriors stood in silence with a blank, distant stare
